Q1. What is the ownership of Efes
Breweries International?
A. Anadolu Efes owns 70.2% of Efes Breweries International
NV. Anadolu Efes is part of the Anadolu Group; one
of Turkey's leading industrial groups, including companies
in the automotive, finance, writing instruments and
office supplies sectors.
Q2. What is the relationship between Anadolu Efes
and EBI? A. EBI conducts all of Anadolu Efes' brewing operations
in Southeast Europe, Russia and Central Asia.
Q3. Why is Efes Breweries International registered
in The Netherlands?
A. Registering the international operations of the Efes
Beverage Group has provided a number of advantages to
EBI. It also means that EBI conforms with the Code of
Corporate Governance applicable to Dutch companies and
has an independent Supervisory Board, including Audit
and Remuneration Committees.
Q4. How many brands does EBI have in total?
A. EBI produces and markets 13 brands of beer. Including
light, dark and other variants of the brands, we have
40 in total. These include leaders in their respective
segments, both for local brands and licensed international
brands.
Q5. Which are the licensed brands in the key territories?
A. The Efes Pilsener brand is our
main licensed brand in all our territories. We also produce
and distribute Warsteiner in Russia.

Q8. Does EBI only sell beer?
A. There is a small proportion of sales represented
by soft drinks and bottled water in Moldova, accounting
for approximately 8% of our sales in that country. In
our other markets we focus wholly on beer.
